Found the bandit lair. Talked to Sorrel, who was wondering where his guard was. Asked the party if they wanted to build trust, they could find Batuszh and the watchers,a greed on 15gp. Sorrel found it interesting to move into the market or establish a market on the second floor. Sorrel was surprised that they hadn't hired the kobolds to do the mining.

McDarren turned into gas and explored Hothouse a bit. Went to lizard mud hut crevice, entered it, where he reverted and then exploded. The explosion destroyed the mud hut.
On exiting, Batuzsh and five bandits confronted Tilda and Francesco, demanding their stuff. Tilda and Francesco won initiative and exploded three of them. The remaining two fled, and Sorrel, impressed, will try and hire them to hunt down the wererats.
